Paul Kinkaid is the Founder & Managing Director of Forensic Outcomes and an executive leadership coach specialising in C-level executives and top teams. After a 20-year career in the British Army, where he rose to Lieutenant Colonel and commanded elite teams across 44 countries and five continents, he now helps organisations understand how leadership behaviour shapes culture, trust, and performance. His work combines operational leadership experience, strategic advisory, and behavioural intelligence to make leadership more visible, measurable, and actionable.
Paul works with boards, CEOs, founders, and senior leadership teams who want a clearer view of leadership capability, culture, and execution risk. For speaking, advisory work, or leadership diagnostics, contact Paul directly or connect with him on LinkedIn.
Paul founded Forensic Outcomes after a career spent seeing the real damage poor leadership can cause in operational environments, boardrooms, and businesses that should have been thriving. Before launching the firm, he served as Head of the British Army’s Training Development Capability, where he led a team of 400 and oversaw a £196M budget. Today he works with senior leaders across sectors to strengthen leadership capability, improve alignment, and create the conditions for sustainable performance.
Retired Lieutenant Colonel with 20 years in the British Army.
Commanded elite teams in 44 countries across five continents, including the first modern British deployment to Ukraine.
Paul’s leadership philosophy centres on the belief that great leadership comes from a position of care. Through his Forensic Leadership framework, he helps leaders become more conscious of the traces they leave on others, build trust through appropriate transparency, and create cultures where people can perform at their best. That philosophy now underpins both his advisory work and DactoApp, which gives organisations an evidence-based view of leadership capability, alignment, and risk before they decide where to invest in development.
